The Kent Singers, a small group of amateur singers, have been bringing high-quality choral performances to the Litchfield County community for 40 years. The group is known for its clean, finely pitched sound. Programs that the Kent Singers develop include early music, baroque, classical and modern works, both sacred and secular. Members of the group are a congenial and varied bunch, with professions as varied as garden photography, computer programming, medicine, masonry and the ministry.
Our first rehearsal of the 2017-2018 season will take place on Wednesday, September 6th at 7:00 p.m. We will be rehearsing at St. Andrew’s Church in Kent at One North Main St. at the center of Kent.
We welcome new singers in all four parts.
Join us in making music along with other friendly singers! We rehearse every Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 pm as we prepare for concerts out of a classical choral repertoire. We give concerts in December and April, and in June we present a major choral work with professional soloists and orchestra.
Experience in choral singing is helpful. For further information, please contact us!
